The gates of the iconic Ardnacrusha Power Station are now open from Monday to Friday for free guided tours.
Please use the online facility here to book your visit.
The guided tour includes a trip to the impressive canal and locks before entering the very heart of the station with unique views of the turbine hall and a visit to the original control room. With a lot to see, the tour can take 90 minutes to complete.
When on the tour, make sure to pop into our Living Archive room (see photos below) which features artefacts, photos and original brochures from our collection at ESB Archives to show how ESB transformed the lives of everyone, everywhere in Ireland.
