  1. My family Kilmartin, lived and farmed at Cutheen house in Donohill I am guessing Anacarthy was their electrification area but it could have come under Tipperary. Before my Grandmother died in 1988,(by that time well into her 90’s) I heard her say that the coming of ‘the light’, as they called it, was the single most life changing event of her whole life.
    Thanks for developing this wonderful, fascinating and at times heartbreaking archive.
